EAST JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Excellence * Academics * Success * Teamwork

Students Please Remember
We are a community!  We care about each other and everyone's success.  Before asking ANYONE a question or making any comments to others, please think to yourself:
Is it True?
Is it Kind?
Is it Necessary?
If you monitor yourself, others will follow.  Please be a positive role model, rather than one who thinks it is cool to put others down.  It is never ok to be mean.

Quote of the Week

"The most important thing an institution does is not to prepare a student for a career but for a life as a citizen."

Hey all you Hornets! Do you want free tickets to this Thursday’s show? If so, answer the following question, which is from the show which the drama department is putting on this Thurs. and Saturday.

The question is:  What has died in one of the Monty Python skits?  Again, the question is: What has died in one of the Monty Python skits?

The first 3 people to tell Ms. Byron the correct answer will be awarded two free tickets to the show.

Remember that Friday is the last day all library books are due in the East Library.  If you have a fine on your account clear it up TODAY to avoid being assigned lunch time in the library.  Thanks!

Yearbook signing day is coming soon – don’t miss out.  Buy your yearbook in the office today!

Thank you to the amazing Student Council candidates that turned their campaign packets in on time! Today at lunch is the absolute latest you can turn in a packet and still be eligible to run for a Student Council office! Get your packets outside of Room 214, and return them to Mrs. Wahl by lunch. Thanks and good luck with the election!!
